NEW SCAM IN ITALY

Yesterday I got this close 🤏 to get scammed and loose 500€

Basically this happened:

I tried to renovate my car insurance and instead of following the mail link googled the insurance company name

All was going well, I was sent a WhatsApp (this fact didn’t make me think about scam somehow😅🤦🏻‍♀️) message with all the details to make a payment.

And when I did…

My bank security called me!

Telling me to revoke the transfer as they are 95% sure that it’s a scam💪 so thank you UniCredit for Saving my money

And yesterday scammers tried again! 😡

To authorize a 50€ payment out of the blue…

So I had to change my card today.
